Holly shit. It's been almost 2 months since I posted here. Just goes to show you how well I do with these blog things. Anyway. I know a lot of people probably have been wondering why the hell I'm not doing much on GDA, so I'm here to give ya the scoop.

So I'm finally in my new apartment. It took us almost 3 weeks to move in, with all the cleaning and repairs (which are STILL going on), but all our furniture is here, with the exception of some crap and a bunny I have at my parent's house yet. The place is a mess now with boxes and we haven't gotten all the rooms straightened out yet, except our bedroooms. The bathroom is going to be totally remodeled with a new paint job and a new floor. The room I'm in now is a mess, with the exception of the computer. We have to get on that, but we have limited time to do things, which sucks.

I've been going through a "promotion" at work...sort of. I was moved to a higher department because I'm liscensed to sell health insurance now. The part that sucks? I had to change my shift to nights, so now my schedule is totally fucked up. The part that's awesome? I make 10% more in my paycheck just for working nights, plus I can stay up late at night and I don't have to wake up early in the morning. I'll be making commission now too, so that's more $$ as well. Eh, we'll see how it goes.

Only a few more weeks until I get to see Andres and Green Day again. I'm excited. It's my vacation too, so I'll have off work from August 31st to September 1. What am I doing you ask? Well, I'm going to see Green Day in New Jersey (thanks for the tickets Lil!) on September 1, then I'm going to Ocean City, Maryland from September 4 to September 6. Then, of course, I'm going to see Green Day in Philadelphia on September 7. I'm soooooo excited.

Well, that's about all. I hope that killed about 5 minutes of your boredom today.

I think I was right. My brother is moving out of my grandma's apartment, and she said I could have it. :) The place is freaking huge, it's in a great location, rent isn't that high, and the best part is I'll be near her so she'll have someone around to help her with things and talk. The only thing is that I'm not sure if my friend is going to be moving with me, or if her and her boyfriend do want to move. I really don't want to give up this opportunity, so if it happens that they decide to get a house or whatever, I'll just find a roommate. My problem is that most of my friends are either irresponsible, or they have people they are living with, like a boyfriend or girlfriend, already. I'm really really praying to God this works out. It's not that I don't like living with my parents, it's just that I'm almost 23 years old and I haven't had the chance to be out on my own yet, except for a stint at a dorm in 2000. I'm going to miss things here, like our dogs, a computer that's not a laptop :P, the quietness of the country, and not having to pay for utilities and rent. But I'm not going to miss coming home from work early if I want to and not having to explain why. Or hearing my dogs bark at every little move. I'm sure everything will work out exactly the way it's supposed to.

Right now, I'm not really working on any major projects with GDA. There's a few odds and ends I've been updating and fixing. I hate when I make stupid mistakes around the site, like forgetting to change a link after I copied and pasted it, or forgetting to upload a file. Oh well, a visitor always e-mails me and lets me know. And I thank each and every one of you for that.

I haven't posted here in a few weeks, so I thought I'd give an update on some projects that I'm working on with GDA.

1. My major project at this time is re-designing the Picture Vault. I was excited the other and super happy that I finally figured out how to batch add photos, so I don't have to upload 3 at a time. I also got the banner Louis made, and it really looks awesome. I'm loving how I don't need to make thumbnails for everything and count up all the pictures! Those are 2 definite pluses. If you'd like to check out the vault and how it's coming along, click here. Please, give me suggestions on to what I can do better or what I can add. I'm thinking about putting a user guide there. The thing I'm worried about is that some people might not know that if you can click on the photo, the full size comes up, and that's the one you save. Hrmm....I'll figure something out I'm sure. ;)

2. My next assignment is to make a page for Green Day's tattoos. It was one of the major requests when Andres asked for suggestions. I was going to do that before, but a moral dilemma came up with me and if that would be a bit to personal (or stalkerish, if you prefer). Oh well, the people want it, so I'll do the best I can. A lot of people ask why we don't have a police files page, and the reason is simple. I don't wanna put that kind of information on the page simply because I think it makes the guys look bad. Plus, I think that information is too personal.

3. Today I bought an extra copy of the book "Green Day" by Doug Small. I'm gonna have a contest on GDA, but I'm not sure what I'm gonna make you guys do yet. I'll think of something.......

That's about it. Is anyone still reading this? I swear, no one comes to this thing except maybe a handful of people.

I'm so lost.

So, what's up everyone? Not much going on my life. I basically have been going to work, to the doctors for my wrists/arms, going to see apartments, working on some parts of GDA, and well, that's about it. Right now I'm not feeling that loved though, because Tyke is leaving for camp and everyone is like "bye TYKE we love you and we hope ANDRES does a good job." Ahem, what about Courtney? Ya know, the reason GDA is even here to begin with? Yeah, I need a fucking self esteem boost. Then I remembered this little jewel....

Ok, now I feel like the special one. :) Ahhh....I feel better.

Oh, and I saw The Longest Yard tonight, ya know with Adam Sandler and Chris Rock? It was very funny. I just LOVE Adam Sandler. Especially Adam Sandler in tight football pants. Ok, I'm done drooling now.

So. It's finally here, Saturday! I love the weekends. Next Saturday I have to work though, so that sucks. But I'll have off on Thursday.....................it still sucks though.

Anyway, I did some work on GDA today, first thing in the morning. I wanted to do a profile on Jason White for awhile now, and a post on the GDA Forum from Andres reminded me of that. So I got that out of the way. I also scanned an article from Blender, and updated the Video Information with the Wake Me Up video info. I want to get a start on the autographs, I have some to add. My hotmail blows for saving pictures though. Everytime I do, I can never open up the picture. So therefore, I got a gmail.com address. I'm still debating on if I want to use it as a primary e-mail, but for now I'll stick to my Hotmail since I paid for it by the year.

Marie called me this morning, the apartment that I went to look at yesterday was rented out. :( It sucks, because it was a really nice place and perfect for 2 people. A little close to the road though, so you can always hear cars passing by. Oh well, the way I'm thinking now is that because we didn't get that place, there must be something else in store for us. I can't wait to get out of here. The free ride with your parents is great, but when you're almost 23 years old, things start to get on your nerves.

Well, my arm is bothering me, so that's all for now.

NOTHING exciting is going on tonight. NOTHING. Plus everyone is ignoring me, or just plain not noticing me. Well, that's the vibe I get.

Anyway, I just finished updating the Picture Vault on GDA. I can't do much right now, I'll tell you why.

I have fucking carpal tunnel in my right arm. GREAT. I had to go for a test on my nerves today. It's fun kids, really. Pins, shocks, it's a fucking carnival. Anyfuckingwho, they found out I have it, so I'm gonna take it easy on GDA for awhile, and let Andres and Tyke take all the glory. Everyone loves them more than me anyway.

Argh, my life is busy, but it's not. I'm too fucking lazy to do what I need to do. My best friend and I are looking for an apartment, so I have to get shit together for that. Plus I need to get rid of a lot of my crap. Since school has ended, I have all the time in the world to do it at night, I just...don't feel like it. Maybe I will this weekend. I'm so happy I'm moving out, I really can't take it anymore. It's the privacy that I want, here I don't get it. I just wanna come home early from work one day, and not have to fucking explain why. It's pretty cool too, because although me and my friend work at the same place, we have different hours. So I'll be at work during the day, she'll be there at night. Pretty cool, eh?

Well, I think I'm done with my rant for now. Sorry to have wasted your time, although I don't think anyone actually reads this thing except a handful of people. And to them, I say thank you.

It took me about 10 fucking hours, but I finally finished the Lyrics section of GDA. I'm pretty happy with the end result. I also managed to tackle the new Discography page. For all of you who are reading this, you can check out its progress here. Keep in mind, it's in the rough stages. I'm trying to think of some cool things to put on it to give it more effect. Also if there's any other information that I could include, be sure to let me know by posting a comment or e-mailing me or something. While you're on the subject, be sure to comment on just how mother-fucking awesome Louis' banners's are. :)

Anyway, it's Monday, and my favorite TV shows are coming on. I shall be back later to work more on the page and to fuck around with my friends in the chat.

I'm pretty happy.

So I'm pretty happy. School finished up on Wednesday, but I think I bombed the algebra final. Math is not my strong suite. Oh well.

Last night I spent about 4 hours working on a new design for the Lyrics page on GDA, and it's still not done, but the idea is down and all there is left is to add the songs. The page is located here, so hopefully it's more user friendly. I still have some more things I want to add to the page however. I have so much other stuff to work on, and tons of email to answer. I really need an assistant, or a secretary.

So I'm at work, I have to leave. No one made any comments in my previous post, which is kinda depressing. But then again it's nothing new that I'm a loser.

I haven't posted on this thing since August of 2004. No surprise there. When I was younger, I couldn't even keep up with a diary. Anyway, I thought I'd steal Andres' idea and since I'm going to have more time on my hands because of school ending, I'll post crap about what I'm working on with GDA.

Andres' is on my ass to create a new layout, so errmm... I guess I'll come up with some ideas and we'll go from there. I'm happy where we are, but he likes change. Pfft. Typical male. Well, at least he's not leaving GDA like he was thining of. I don't know what I would do without him. :)

Anyway, there's a few pages I want to start working on this week -- before starting a new layout. I've been planning on doing/redoing these pages for awhile now, so they are first priority.

One page in the works is the vinyl discography. I've been really getting into vinyl lately. Just Green Day and Green Day related though. Currently my collection includes the first pressing of Slappy, newer pressings of 1000 Hours and Slappy, 3 pressings of the Sweet Children EP, Live at Gilman Street, 2 Lookouts vinyls (Tre's old band), and the American Idiot Import LP. Don't worry the vinyl page will have more than that, because there is a TON of Green Day vinyls out there.

Another page I'm planning on re-doing is the lyrics page. I'll still have the discography, with links to the lyrics, but this page is going to be just for lyrics. It's going to be time consuming, because instead of me being lazy and just posting text files, I'm actually going to make them HTML files. Yippy.

The fan art is backed up, I know. I haven't checked the e-mail in weeks, therefore, there is probably about 300 peices of fan art waiting for me to look at. Posting art is a grueling process, that's why no one wants to do it. Actually, Tyke was helping me with it, but his computer crashed and he lost a lot of info. So be it. I'll have to keep fan art on my list.

Last but not least that I want to tell you about, Mike's profile. I re-did Billie Joe's and Tre's profiles, plus the band biography, just not Mike's yet. I'm sorry Mike, I'll get on it as soon as I can.

Well, that's all for now folks. I hope you enjoy reading these things, I know I've enjoyed writing it. Especially since I'm finally done with this research paper I had to do, and that's all I did all day was work on it. It's due tomorrow. Leave it to Courtney to do a major assignment the day before it's due. Eh, that's life.

So here's what happened. GDA was cancelled because we "overloaded" the server, which I assume means we ran out of bandwidth.

This from the Pre-Sales FAQ on Fasthost.com:

What will happen to my site if I exceed bandwidth limit? If you exceed bandwidth usage your site will be suspend until you buy more bandwidth or reach end of the month.

Maybe they should change the wording around a little bit to "We'll cancel your site without warning if you exceed bandwidth."

Argh. Anyway, GDA is being put on a new host, Surpasshosting.com. This better work out. I estimate we'll be back up and back to normal in about a week. The thing that sucks the most is I don't have some updated files, we all have different files, and the forum files were completely lost. Sorry guys, but you'll have to sign up again. Check back here for progress updates.

So, once again, GDA is driving me crazy. It's just so annoying when I always have to switch things because the server is retarted. Today, I get this e-mail that my site has been cancelled. CANCELLED without a goddamn reason. The host has yet to reply. Well, they better get ready for an earfull.
